By bicycle from Christianshavn to Copenhagen

This short and super easy ride takes you from the vibrant canals of Christianshavn right into the heart of Copenhagen city. Starting by the colorful old warehouses and laid-back cafés of Christianshavn, you’ll cruise mostly on quiet roads and smooth cycleways—Copenhagen is famous for its bike-friendly streets, so you’re in for a chill trip.

The route’s just under 4 km and has barely any hills, so it’s perfect if you just want a relaxed city ride (or if you’re heading to work, brunch, or just sightseeing). As you pedal, you’ll get a nice mix of classic architecture, a touch of green spaces, and then suddenly you’re rolling into the center of Copenhagen—right near Strøget, the famous pedestrian street, and all the city action.
