Cycling day trip from Kreuzlingen to Lindau

This ride takes you from Kreuzlingen, a lovely Swiss town right on the border of Lake Constance (Bodensee), all the way to Lindau, a charming Bavarian island city renowned for its historic lighthouse and lakeside vibes.

Starting in Kreuzlingen—you’ll be right next to the lively harbor and the Swiss-German border—this route gently traces the southern shore of Lake Constance. You’ll spend most of your time on quiet roads and dedicated cycle paths, perfect for soaking in the views of sparkling water, rolling orchards, and the distant Alps. There’s a bit of up and down (about 360 meters ascent), but it’s never too steep, making for a pleasant cruise.
