By bicycle from Eimsbüttel to Stellingen

This pleasant cycling route takes you from the leafy streets of Eimsbüttel over to Stellingen—a great way to explore some of Hamburg’s quieter neighborhoods on two wheels! Starting in Eimsbüttel, you’ll roll through classic Gründerzeit architecture and plenty of local cafés, before making your way northwest along a mostly smooth, paved path. The route is gentle on the legs, with just a few small inclines and only about 28 meters in total ascent.

Most of your ride is on peaceful neighborhood roads with little traffic, so you can relax and take in the city. A short stretch on dedicated cycleways and some paving stones add a little variety, but almost all surfaces are bike-friendly.

As you arrive in Stellingen, you’ll find yourself close to the Tierpark Hagenbeck—a famous Hamburg zoo—and plenty of green spaces. All in all, it’s a comfortable ~10 km cruise, perfect for everyday cycling or a fun weekend adventure!
