By bicycle from Poznan to Swarzędz

This cycling route is a great way to link up two lively Greater Poland towns: it starts right at the heart of Poznań—famous for its Renaissance old town and colourful townhouses—and ends in Swarzędz, a smaller but charming place known for its long tradition of furniture making.

Covering a bit over 16 km, the ride is pretty chill in terms of elevation, so you won’t be faced with any nasty climbs. The route meanders mostly along quiet roads and some paths, so you’ll have time to soak up the scenery and enjoy the ride away from busy traffic. Expect a mix of surfaces: there’s plenty of smooth asphalt and pavement, with occasional stretches of paving stones or unpaved bits to keep things interesting.
