Cycling day trip from Simonton Lake to Dunlap

This ride starts at Simonton Lake, a peaceful spot north of Elkhart that's popular for fishing and lazy afternoons by the water. From there, you’ll head south on mostly quiet roads and a few cycleways, making for a relaxing pedal with hardly any elevation to worry about—just enough rolling terrain (about 41 meters up, 47 meters down) to keep things interesting.

The route covers just under 23 km and leans heavily on smooth asphalt and paved roads, with very little time spent on busier streets. Along the way, you’ll weave past small lakeside neighborhoods and through stretches of Indiana farmland.
