From Bacharach railway station to Mainz railway station, following the Rhine river.

Tweaks to the described route in the book (hard copy):

1. The section along Route 9 roadway coming into Bingen has been by-passed (pg 205, column 2, from after [KM532] to joining Hindenberg Anlage).

Point of Interest

You can turn Left here and follow the riverside paths. Sometimes impassable. You can also continue straight on and by keeping to the major path, swinging right away from the Rhine at its nearest point, then turning left some few hundred yards further on, contine to join the described route (in the hard copy book) at Ingelheim (pg 206, column 2, near the top).
