Der Salzach entlang nach Elsbethen, via Höhenwald und Hinterwald ins Wiestal. Ca. 2 km Richtung Ebenau bis zur Abzweigung nach Faistenau: Durch die Strubklamm bis an den Hintersee (Ort Vordersee), danach via Faistenau und Hof zurück nach Salzburg.

Im Wiestal bzw. ab Hof verläuft parallel zur Wolfgangsee-Bundesstraße ein bestens ausgebauter Radweg, die Strecke zwischen Faistenau und Hof ist verkehrsreicher, ansonsten verkehrsarme Nebenstraßen im guten Zustand. Und: Heiß war's heute – über 30 Grad!
