Der 5er beim Lahnparklauf heißt "Sporthaus-KAPS Lauf" und wird zu Gunsten der Ukraine-Hilfe ausgetragen. Die Strecken sind flach und schnell und gehen entlang des Radweges R6 zwischen Wetzlar und Gießen. Nahe des Waldgirmeser Sportplatzes ist der Wendepunkt des 5erer und man läuft von dort die Strecke wieder zurück nach Wetzlar-Niedergirmes.
