About This Route

This figure-eight loop starts with a gradual descent to Cambooya. From here it is a loop through the historic town of Nobby and back to Cambooya where there are resupply options if required. The route through Ramsay and Hodgsonvale and back into Toowoomba City will have your legs screaming with many short-sharp hills and a few long drags too. Numerous shortcut/bailout options exist - refer to points of interest on the map.

Highlights Along The Route

Point of Interest

Through riding is (just) possible via the steepest shared concrete path in the Toowoomba Region!

Point of Interest

Save some legs or the climb up Tranter St will really hurt!

Point of Interest

Shortcut/bailout option to ride directly up the New England Highway into Toowoomba City. HOWEVER, 500m of this section has no shoulder as you climb up to Nelson St and is not advised.
