About This Route

L'itinerario si svolge per la maggior parte in quota tra i 600 e i 1500 metri tra boschi di faggi e castagni e panorami entusiasmanti sulla valle dell'Aveto e successivamente sul monte Penna. Il traffico è inesistente le strade sono tutte afaltate ma il fondo è spesso granuloso. Dopo S. Stefano d'Aveto vale la pena di fare una deviazione di andata e ritorno lungo la strada della Foresta del Monte Penna. In autunno lo spettacolo dei faggi che diventano rossi è insuperabile.
