About This Route

A gravel/cross-country mtb ride that starts in Parson and ends in Nicholson. The road up to the power line follows a well-maintained resource road. The powerline road is in good condition. The forest service road (currently not active) that climbs above the powerline is grown in with alder in places (still ridable) but is otherwise fine. The descent to Nicholson along the active FSR is horribly rough. It made me wish I had ridden this on a mtb with good front suspension. The route follows a portion of the BluMoose race but in reverse. The standard route from Nicholson to Parson is the preferred way of riding this as the descent into Parson is less jarring. Lots of bear sign.
