About This Route

Von Affi über Sant´Ambrogio Richtung Festung Monte (Forte Monte 420m hoch über der Etsch). Bald geht es über Schotterstraßen und teilweise schmale Schotter-Trails auf und ab und durch mehrere alte Steinbrüche durch.

Kurz vor dem Forte Monte geht es 100m einen sehr grobsteinigen alten Militärweg hoch. Hier muss man kurz schieben, weil es steil bergauf geht und fast nicht fahrbar ist.

Vom Forte Monte geht es einen schmalen Militär-Schotterweg hinab an steilen Felswänden vorbei.

An einem anderen Forte (Festung) fährt man auf der Abfahrt vorbei. Unten angekommen fährt man auf der Straße durch den großen Canyon an der Etsch entlang zurück nach Sega und von dort durch ein schönes Tal über einen Schotterweg zurück nach Cavaion und Affi.

Teilweise anspruchsvolle Tour ideal für ein Pedelec MTB wie dem Haibike Xduro FS.
