This route goes from Waterloo to Toronto via the Trans-Canada trail; from there, it arrives at Kingston via the Waterfront trail. Kingston to Montréal also follows the river. Aftrer that, the trip to the Ville de Québec is on the north side of the St Lawrence river, passing through Trois-Rivières. After Québec (where a visit can be made to l'île de l'Orleans), the return trip goes by the Village Québecois d'Antan in Drummondville, and back to Montréal. Montréal leads to Ottawa via Rockland, and then through Peterborough and Newmarket all the way back to Waterloo.
It is a very long ride, but is mostly completely flat, since it borders the water. Scenery is absolutely amazing.
To Québec City is about 1000 km.
