Felfelé a jobb oldali úton kell menni, kb. feléig aszfaltozott. Ezután már zúzott köves a tetőig, ami 802m magasan van.

A bal oldali lefelé út a kék kör túristaút, sokszor kell tolni a gépet, különösen ha túristák is vannak.

Egyébként a többi Csóványos, Nagy-Hideg-Hegy, Kóspallag körökhöz is így kell felmenni.

Mi az autót Szokolyán hagytuk, de voltak akik Verőcéről indultak.
