About This Route

Der erste Etappentag lässt die Fahrer ins landschaftlich schöne Kärnten schnuppern: am Ossiachersee entlang in östlicher Richtung geht es an Feldkirchen vorbei Richtung St. Veit. Nach ca. 18 Kilometer geht es hoch nach St. Urban. Kurze aber knackige 16% empfangen uns, bevor wir rechts durch ein wunderschönes Hochtal fahren. Die Abfahrt ist kurvig und steil. Über Liebenfels weiter nach Moosburg - die ehemalige Hochburg der Ultra-Triathleten - Richtung Wörthersee. Oberhalb des größten Kärntner See's fahren wir über den Techelsberg in die einsamen Ossiacher Tauern. Über welliges tw. steiles Gelände geht es ins Ziel nach Ossiach.
