About This Route

The first half of this ride is on the Waterfront Trail. While the majority of this ride is on road or ashphalt, there is some gravel and dirt paths (#11 to #13.5) in there as well. I would say that this ride isn't well suited for road bikes due to the gravel and dirt portions of the ride, however a hybrid with slightly wider tires should not have any issues. I ride this route on a mountain bike outfitted with Kenda Kross tires and had no problems.

A good portion of this ride is flat but there are a few hills to challenge newer riders
