About This Route

Great route through the Rhoen mountains in Hessen, however it is worthy only until you reach Geisa, or beyond if you want to remain on Asphalt (Hessen Bahnradweg), after Geisa I tried to cut in through some mountains to make my way back to Hunfeld but and ended up facing critical and close paths in the woods so I stopped in Stetzelbach.

From Steinau to Tann you run 30km up hill all the time and can see one of the most beautiful landscapes in Hessen.

Next time I will close the circle through Buttlar and Eiterfeld.
