About This Route

This is a beautiful ride form Sunbreaker cove, Sylvan Lake to the edge of Rocky Mountain House.  Rainy Creek road is not very busy and the pavement is good.  Best riden it in the morning before the west wind start for the afternoon.

 

Out and back was about 100 km.  There are a couple of moderate climbs for the prairies and one signifiicant climb on your return (east bound) ride. 

 

Watch out for the farm near the 90 degree turn at the most west point.  two dogs came running out and were quite aggressive.  Luckly a car came at the same time and distracted them.
