About This Route

Der „Limes Saxoniae“ war angeblich ein unbefestigtes Grenzgebiet, das im 8. Jahrhundert den westlichen Einflussbereich der Sachsen von dem Gebiet der slawischen Abodriten im östlichen Holstein trennte. Sehenswert auf der Limestour sind das Herrenhaus Blumendorf, die Altstadt von Bad Oldesloe, das Benediktiner-Kloster Nütschau, die Kirchen in Leezen, Nahe und Sülfeld sowie das Herrenhaus in Borstel.
