About This Route

This loop can be ridden clockwise or counter clockwise. It starts in Mae Na at a small road off the bypass road to Chiang Dao and leads straight into the hills. The road is 40% paved, 60% unpaved non-technical double track, partly steep. It leads through lush jungles and offers wonderful views of the Daen Lao mountain range, particularly Doi Luang in the north. Takes about 4 hours at moderate speed and involves ca. 1300m climb.
