About This Route

Great country roads that are moderately quiet, with only occasional farm vehicles/trucks or people heading out to Farewell Spit or Wharariki Beach .. Both respectful and giving wide berth to cyclists (in my experience!)

Gorgeous rural and coastal senery, and aside from a few small hills between Collingwood & Rockville, it's flat as a pancake ..

The perfect route for a casual Sunday afternoon ride .. Be sure to take water, your camera, & a towel!
