Start in Goslar am Osterfeld (Parken gebührenfrei)

Weg bis Auerhahn steigt permanent an, dann geht es eher eben bis nach Zellerfeld. In Zellerfeld geht es leicht berg ab bis zu B242, dann wieder gemächlich bergauf.

Wirklich steil wird es ab der Abzweigung der B498 bis kurz nach den Parkplätzen. Danach wechseln schnelle Abfahrten ebene Stücke und mittlere Rampen.

Anders als die Berliner Harzrunde sollte man kurz nach Torfhaus die L504 nach rechts verlassen und einen asphaltierten Waldweg nehmen. Bringt einen ohne Verkehr an der Okertalsperre auf die B498. Sehr empfehlenswert! Die B498 Brücke über die Okertalsperre ist nicht querbar!!
