About This Route

If you want to avoid the serious hills on the Ontario Bikeway between 1st Ave. and Broadway, this is a really nice way to do it. There isn't any way to avoid hills completely, but the grade along Columbia and 8th ave is a lot less steep than it is along Ontario and on 7th Ave.

8th Ave. is also wider and less trafficked by cars than 7th. Ave. Most drivers use 7th as a thoroughfare to Main/Kingsway.
