A falu területének 67%-a erdő, ami annyit jelent, hogy hazánk legtisztább levegőjű települése! Erdeiben sokféle vad található. Különösen szarvas állománya híres, területén lőtték 1891-ben azt a szarvasbikát, mely 14,5 kg -os agancsával hosszú ideig világrekord volt. Látnivalók: szarvas szobor , a gyönyörű templom a környezetével együtt, és a Maus kápolna.</span>
