About This Route

This loop start and ends at Huay Tueng Tao reservoir and it is probably best done clockwise. Passing the reservoir, it moves north to Mae Raem through the forest at the foot of Doi Suthep. The transition from the dirt road to the single track oin the western part near Mae Sa is a bit sketchy, as the trail head is hard to find. The elephant trails in the back of Mae Sa elephant are challenging but fun to ride and you are guaranteed to see some elephants in the forest.
