Siamo ai piedi di Monte Sacro a Nord di Mattinata,

su un altopiano che permette di spaziare a 360° dal mare fino ai margini della Foresta Umbra.

Il punto di partenza è posto all'inizio del sentiero pedonale che porta alla sommità di M.te Sacro, dove potremo visitare i resti dell'abbazia benedettina della SS. Trinità(sec. X-XII) e  dista 10km circa da Mattinata.
