18km Dauernheim-Nidda-Rundweg

Starting in Dauernheim, the route passes old rock cellars and the beautiful church on the way out of town. From there, it follows a bike path along the federal highway to Ranstadt, then directly onto a lovely bike path through nature, passing stork nests and wooded areas all the way to Nidda. Upon arriving in Nidda, there is the option to stop at various local establishments before continuing on a few short roads towards a somewhat steeper hill in the direction of the glider airfield. At the top, there is perhaps the chance to watch the gliders before descending down to Geiss-Nidda. As in Nidda, in Geiss-Nidda a short stretch of road must be traveled before returning through beautiful nature with some ups and downs back to Dauernheim. A lovely tour for the whole family.
