About This Route

Rossbrand - mit 1768 Metern der schönste Aussichtsberg der Ostalpen. Die Aussichtsfahrt auf den Rossbrand führt durch Reitdorf. Durch den schmucken Marktkern von Altenmarkt über die Alte Bundesstraße mit seinen schönen Erbhöfen in Richtung Stadtzentrum Radstadt. Links am Stadtteich vorbei, über die Schloßstraße auf die Rossbrandstraße. 12 Km führen stetig, aber nicht anstrengend, auf das knapp über der Baumgrenze stehende Gipfelkreuz des Rossbrandes und der Radstädter Hütte. Der Blick frei vom Schneeberg bis zum Sonnblick – 360° Rund-um-Blick. Retour führt der Weg über die alte Bundesstraße in Altenmarkt und über Reitdorf zurück nach Wagrain.
