About This Route

Follows a very old rail alignment between Nornalup and the mouth of the Denmark River. Due to its original use all of the gradients are easy to deal with.

Between Bow River (Peaceful Bay Rd) and Kent River (Parker Rd) you need to use the highway due to a section missing where old bridges no longer exist. The section between Mount McLeod Road and Denmark River can be unsuitable for race bikes after winter rains due to mud, but most of the year the surface is firm and fine for most road bikes as well as mtbs.
