About This Route

I would recommend to ride the tour from Sion to Haute Nendaz as provided here. The ascend from Riddes via Iserables to Haute Nendaz offers siginifantly steep sections. Also bear in mind to bring along some lighting cause you will ride through tunnels between Iserables and Riddes. Even though Opencyclingmap has some of the ridden sections marked as non paved they are paved and perfectly suitable for race bikes (and all others for sure as well).
