About This Route

Das ist die lange Variante der Magdalensbergtour. Die Anfahrt bis nach Grafenstein über St. Primus, Annabrücke und Mieger ist landschaftlich schöner und verkehrstechnisch wesentlich ruhiger als der direkte Weg von Klopein nach Grafenstein und man hat einen weiteren kleinen Anstieg dabei. Ab Grafenstein ist die Tour dann wieder ident mit der Standard Magdalensbergtour. Der Anstieg zum Magdalensberg ist 6 km lang. Die letzten 900 m haben eine Steigung von teilweise 18 % und verlangen zum Schluß nochmals alles ab. Dafür wird man mit einem herrlichen Rundumblick über Kärnten und einem guten Essen im Gasthaus Skorianz belohnt (Tip: die haben auch sehr gute Mehlspeisen). Der Rückweg erfolgt über St. Michael, Greuth und Tainach, wieder nach Klopein.
