Einmal über den Oberbarnim: Start ist in Bad Freienwalde fast auf Meeresspiegelniveau. Dann geht es durch ausgedehnte Wälder immer bergauf. Anschließend folgt das Barnimplateau mit kleinen Dörfern, Äckern, Alleen und Wiesen mit Pferden.

Der Barnim endet in Buckow/Märkische Schweiz im Stobbertal. Hier lässt es sich gut verweilen. Die letzte Etappe von 6km führt nun zum Bahnhof Müncheberg.
