Population: 3,700 Sometimes called Brittany's Little Switzerland, Saint-Nolff is renowned for its beautiful chapels, notably St Anne's Chapel, which was built in 1493.

Population: 10,900 Second city of the Vannes region with around 11,000 inhabitants, Saint-Avé is a lively place thanks to the Dôme, its concert hall. Its ancient heritage is rich and includes the pretty Saint-Michel and Notre-Dame-du-Loc chapels, as well as the Château de Beauregard, where in 1800 the famous Breton politician Georges Cadoudal signed a treaty ending the Breton chouannerie, as the royalist uprising was known
