About This Route

Nice, easy biking trip to Håkøya island. The rout goes next to coast with scenic view to mountains on Kvaløya. Mostly path is on pedestrian side, special prepared for cyclists. Kvaløya with Håkøya is connected by small bridge. This bridge is very popular for fishing rod.

On the way to the end of Håkøya road is monument from WWII. It is wrack of German battle ship, Tirpitz.

The path to the top of island is more for mountain biking with altitude 105 moh. This place is quite wildness. In summer lives there many big and small birds (coas & forest) and if you are lucky you can see reindeers and elks.
