Si parte dall'Albergo Alpino salendo verso il Passo 100 Croci. Dopo 3 km si prende la secondaria a dx per Passo Scassella.Si prosegue per Lago Secco e, al km 7.63, siamo al Passo della Cappelletta. Pocco dopo ci immettiamo sullo sterrato dell'Alta Via dei Monti Liguri. La strada sale decisa per circa 4 km fino quasi a Foce dei Tre Comuni.  Da qui si prosegue prevalentemente in discesa per Case Biagi (inizio asfalto), Adelano, Passo Calzavitello, SP 65 ,Zeri, Pontremoli
