Cycling tour 2011 Roma - Salerno

9th June: The country in Rome at 12 o'clock. Started at 13.30 to ride a bike

Lunch in Ostia. Stayed in Anzio.

Cozy little town by the beach.

Bike a total of 55 km. Nice weather.

June 10th: Started to ride at. 10.30. Boring party. with the exception of the beach line after Lido di Latina.

Lunch 1mil before Terrasina at gas station, good lasagna. Bike to Terrasina, photo shoot on old tracts. Come to Sperlonga at 17, wonderfully nice romantic and completely car free city, great atmosphere. Old town on a hill.

Bike a total of 100 km. Nice weather.

June 11th: We were overwhelmed by Spelognia and decided to stay here the next day. Nice Hotel at Old Town, good breakfast. Strandpromenade, Old Town and Strand. Came a heavy rainfall that lasted a sea-time with thunder.

June 12th: Started with a climbing ladder of 15km to Itri, followed by two cyclists from Itri. There we bought food. Biked down to the beach at Scruba where we ate lunch,

A lot of cycling today, very much garbage / garbage road along roads and towns / cities. End of termination / unfinished closed barley. Period with scary area. Finally arrive at 20.30 in Pozzuoli, where it took some time to find a hotel .. think it's a nice harbor town. Cheap hotel 65E at the harbor. Lots of traffic, people and noise. Bike 10 miles today. Nice weather.

June 13th: Much traffic, exhaust and miserable roads. Cycled continuously from town to town on uneven cobblestone / rather. Lunch in Naples. Took 3 hours to get through town. Naples was a little rubbish :-) Endeleg promotion in Vico Equense. Great place by the sea! Cozy hotel that had been in Molde :-)

Overtaking a ceremony, several boats that drove along land, many salutes and a lot of fireworks at the sea and from various places in the mountainside. Stroll about 2 hours. Celebrated St. Anton? Celebrated once a year. Biked together 4-5 miles, spent 9 hours together due to poor road and close traffic, tiring because we had to get full concentration all the way.

June 14th: Good breakfast.

Great trip, about 12 km, to Sorento. Found us room at Hotel Edem in the center. Trashed one around the city, ate lunch and then to the harbor with a small stand where we relaxed and took a bath. In the evening was wrapped in a great restaurant with good lasagna, strolled on and finished with Grappa.

June 15th: Early up, boat to Capri at 7.45. Cycled up the spectacular mountain side, with stunning views. Across the island to Ana Capri and found Hotel Casa Caprile. Then we rode down to the Blue Cave, then to Faro, a swimming area. In the evening we ate pizza in the old town.

June 16th: Started down to stroll through the old town before we sat on the bike and rode over the mountain and down to Marine Piccolo, a great swimming spot, lovely clear and hot to swim in. Then we rode to Marine Grande, ate lunch and took the boat back to Sorento. Come to Sorento at 16.15 and start your trip to Positano. Fantastic and great road where many pictures were taken. Ended up at a Hostel in the top of the city. Nice but spartan. Came late, trashed a little and ate in the upper district.

June 17th: Started the day with lunch by the beach. After a refreshing swim, we strolled around.

After a few hours we went to Amfali which is about 2 miles away. It was beautiful and spectacular coast we rode, so we spent several hours. UMange stop for photography .... beautiful!

Arrived at Amalfi at about 16, ate lunch at the pier. Since we thought Amalfi was so great, we decided to stay overnight. Found a central hotel, the nicest on the whole trip. On the church stage they practiced on a set-up / dance that was to be performed on television the following day. Cozy and intimate city!

June 18th: Went early from Amalfi. more roller coaster today. Still spectacular roads / places all the way to Solerno which is the last stop on this bike ride. About 2 miles today. Lunch in the park. Mostly in Salerno, got a picture of the dog Leo. Found Hotel Italia. Went a walk by the harbor. Few tourists in this city.

June 19th: Breakfast at the harbor, trashed in the city and shopping clothes.
