From Newtown Road to Hook Common is relatively easy, all is a tarmacked road. From the Common to Hook is a gravel path, can get very muddy when wet. Chilling Lane is very nice and easy to cycle along, some ascent, many speedbumps. The path past Chilling Copse is longer but easy, as it is a gravel path, relatively flat. From Bronwich Pond to Chilling beach is roughly 1km of decenting towards the beach, path can get muddy. Going from Hook to Dibles road is an overally ascenting road, with a larger ascent towards the end of the road.
Â
Overall, semi easy route and quite empty (especially in Winter). Not too strenuous harsh ascents/decents.
