About This Route

Die mittlere Strecke lässt den Vogelsberg aus. Sie hat ihre erste Verpflegungskontrolle K1 am Bahnhof in Sterbfritz (km 20). In Oberzell folgt eine fliegende Kontrolle (Wasser, Stempel) bei km 28. Ab Mottgers langer Talverlauf bis Marjoss K2 (km 48). Danach geht es gut gestärkt im Talverlauf weiter bis Mernes und dann auf die Höhe der Spessartstraße und zum Golfer-Dorf Alsberg.  Nun genießt man die letzten Kilometer mit herrlichem Weitblick  ins Kinzigtal bis zum Ziel in Steinau. Mittelschwere  Tour. Ganz ohne Training sollte man die Strecke nicht angehen.
