Der Startpunkt Salzburg stellt einen vor die Überquerung der Hohen Tauern rund um den Großglockner. Obwohl dort zuweilen noch recht viel Schnee lag, ist die Route doch sehr reizvoll. Highlights waren:

- Das Feuerwehrfest mit Halbfinale in der Ramsau

- Der Lago di Alleghe und der Lago Caldonazzo

- Die Kalser Tauern

-Die Gegend rund um Sexten/Sesto in Südtirol und besonders unsere Unterkunft dort mit Blick auf den Elfer-/Zwölferkogel usw.
