Da Castel San Pietro, salita lunga e irregolare verso Monte Calderaro. Discesa verso val d'Idice (attenzione qualche tratto sconnesso) con paesaggi notevoli, poi  fondovalle Idice e a Bisano si svolta per Villa di Sassonero ("Casoni di Romagna"). Salita regolare di 5.5 km, discesa (fare attenzione) verso valle del Sillaro e al bivio si svolta a destra per salire con gli ultimi 4 km a Sassoleone. Discesa poi percorrendo tutta la val Sillaro fino a Castel san Pietro.
