About This Route

From the beginning of the M4 to the ANZAC Bridge via Five Dock and Lilyfield.

Gipps St/Queen St is a difficult road to ride with lots of parked cars and heavy traffic during peak hour.  The RTA classified the road as "high difficulty on-road riding environment."

After you've passed through Five dock it's mostly quiet roads or cycleways until you reach Lilyfield; Lilyfield Rd has it's moments and is classified by the RTA as "moderate difficulty on-road riding environment."

Once you reach Victoria Rd you have cycleways from there.

Beware the hill just after the Hawthorne Canal... it's not for the feint hearted!
