About This Route

Lepa razgledna pot nad Vipavsko dolino. Iz Štanjela po glavni cesti proti Komnu, nato po 1 km pri lovski koči zavijete desno po makadamu proti Lukovcu. Nato pod grebenom (na grebenu enkratni razgledi proti Vipavki dolini in hriboih v okolici), spust z grebena mimo Grižnika do prelaza Dovce.

Preko prelaza Dovce nad gradom Rihemberk vzpon na Šumke in mimo Ovčjaka. Cel hrib je pred leti pogorel, zato sedaj poganja zelo bujna podrast. Prevozimo celoten greben z lepimi razgledi proti Tržaškemu zalivu, celoten Kras je kot na dlani. Spustimo se navzdol in se skoraj pri železnih vratih obrnemo proti vzhodu. Povratek po asfaltni cesti preko Škrbine in Rubij, nato mimo Malega dola, nato proti Tomačevici in skozi Kobjeglavo po asfaltu povratek v Štanjel.
