Buis-les Baronnies, col de Perry et dévotions au pied du Ventoux

Hilly loop with beautiful views from the top of the climbs and hidden spots at the foot of the mountains... like Laborel and its improbable bistro, miraculously open that day to warm up after enduring (and even wringing out!) a shower on the descent from Col de Perry.

The rest consisted, together with my companions, in comparing our perceptions of the darkness of the clouds and negotiating the wisdom of continuing our bold escapade.

But after Montbrun-les-Bains, there was no doubt, we had to come here... to bow, to prostrate ourselves, at the foot of the giant... of the Everest of Provence.
