About This Route

Wonderful route around Bielersee, all paved. You can enjoy the nice (wide) tour of the lake, then at km 64 (Ligerz) starts 10km climb; first 6km are the most difficult around 8%, then at Twannberg starts lovely and funny part of the road, it's up&down along a narrow road, forbidden to cars. At the end of the climb (km 74) you need to pass a gate carrying your bike for few meters. After the gate, it's fast downhill back to Biel/Bienne.
