About This Route

Das Château de Chaumont war vom Campingplatz aus schnell mit dem Rad erreicht. Es verfügt neben einer guten historischen Ausstattung über einen weitläufigen Park mit schönen Blicken ins Loiretal sowie über kleine, abgeteilte Gärten mit künstlerischer oder auch gärtnerischer Gestaltung. Nach einem Picknick im trockenen Flussbett der Loire ging es auf die andere Uferseite zu einer kleinen Rundtour. Der Tourenvorschlag aus dem Netz verlief durch weite, abgeerntete Felder. Wir sind deshalb abweichend davon durch das grüne Tal der Cisse gefahren.
