Il tracciato è „appoggiato” liberamente al Sentiero Valtellina, ottimamente segnalato; la facilità della discesa è più che compensata dallo sforzo di vincere il vento, quasi sempre contrario, talvolta sostenuto; passeggerete in sella nell΄incantevole verde del fondovalle, quasi sempre in prossimità delĺ́΄alveo delĺ΄Adda ed in vista dei pregiatissimi castelli e vigneti.

Troverete frequenti fontane e fontanelle, tutte con ottima acqua molto fresca, gradita specie d́́́΄estate; disponibili varie aree di sosta attrezzate, quasi tutte con fontanella. Praticabile tutto ĺ́́΄anno, il percorso è raccomandato con il tempo buono, tipicamente da aprile ad ottobre.

Tra Ardenno e Talamona troverete ĺ́́΄unico tratto molto trafficato, su ex S.S. 36, che non si può evitare: fate molta attenzione!!!
