About This Route

Am Nordufer des Ederstausees entlang führt der Weg nach Waldeck (Achtung: Kurz vor Waldeck lauert eine bissige Rampe). Von Waldeck führt der landschaftlich reizvolle R6 nach Norden bis nach Freienhagen. Nun geht es in rasanter Schussfahrt hinunter zur Twiste. Bis Bad Arolsen ist es nicht mehr weit. Der R6 führt von hier in weitem Bogen nach Warburg, alternativ bietet sich die Straße über Volkmarsen an der Twiste entlang an.
