Szombathelyről a várhoz nagyjából ez a legrövídebb út.

A várhegyre a nagyjából bejelölt úton fel is lehet tekerni, illetve vannak meredekebb kalandosabb ösvények is, azok szebbek, én arra mentem de zömében toltam a bringát.

A vár ingyenesen látogatható, és megéri az erőfeszítéseket. Az oda vezető út gyönyörű tájakon vezet keresztül, enyhe emelkedőkkel. A település templomát és a környéken lévő középkori házakat feltétlenül érdemes megnézni.
