Die Route ist so gelegt, dass die vielbefahrenen Straßen vermieden werden. Von Zwickau aus gehts erst einmal stetig bergauf. In Pöhlau einen Feldweg hoch, dann erst einmal runter in den Mülsengrund, um gleich wieder auf einem Feldweg bergauf bis zur Alberthöhe zu schieben. Ab da dann ist es ziemlich ausgeglichen bergauf und bergab, auf kleinen Straßen und über Feldwege.
