About This Route

Okay, this is just a general ride around town I created for a 1st time out for my R2CC fund raising team - Team Kortright. It's for fun, not really for serious training. Starts and ends at Kortright Church and includes a real mixed bag of roads and terrain.

There's some main streets, lots of side streets, some with bike lanes, some without, a few hills, but nothing incredibly steep. Okay there a some steep ones but we go down those.

It includes a quick jaunt through the University by the horse barns and the like. I wanted just a fun 15km tour for our first time out that stayed in town as some of you indicated you wanted to do.

If it's not to your liking I invite you to design the next tour.

(Okay, we had to cgange the route because of weather. It now reflects what we atually road. Now 19km and all paved.)
